Hymn for Piano

I wrote this piece after writing two successful piano pieces. I wanted to challenge myself specifically by writing a piece that further explored the range and dynamics of the piano. Additionally, I wanted to manipulate the melody in a way that would still feel familiar each time it recurred. Holy, Holy, Holy is a hymn I grew up singing in church and it was beautiful to me. The opening melody is an homage to that song.
